SAN PEDRO CACTUS POWDER is a cactus which is used in a similar manner to peyote.
The active ingredient in both peyote and San Pedro is mescaline. A mescaline trip is a very powerful experience and should be treated with respect. The experience is usually characterized by visual effects, personal insights and positive feelings.
CHEMISTRY: Mescaline is structurally similar to LSD. It binds to serotonin receptors, especially serotonin 2A. Persons using SNRI and SSRI anti-depressants will sometimes find reduced effects from peyote.
DOSAGE: A psychedelic dose of mescaline is usually between 250 to 350 milligrams. A microdose is usually around 20-40mg of mescaline. Dried San Pedro will contain approximately 1% mescaline (10mg per gram). Here are some rough dosing guidelines:
